A Young Adult Library Ambassador is someone who:
- Is between the ages of 15 and 21
- Loves their library
- Wants to help their peers understand and appreciate what their library has to offer
- Wants to grow their personal and professional skills
What does it take to be a Young Adult Library Ambassador?
To be a Young Adult Library Ambassador you will need to do these things:
- Partner with your public or school library
- Come up with a program or event idea that helps promote your library to other teens and young adults
- Register on our website
- Complete your program or event
- Fill out a final report
- Receive your Young Adult Library Ambassador Certification
